Our organization is at the forefront of delivering comprehensive interdisciplinary pediatric services with a core focus on integrative and holistic therapeutic approaches that support the needs of the entire family. Our expertise includes Speech & Language Therapy, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, ABA Therapy, and a wide range of Psychological Services, all rooted in evidence-based practices.

Our Journey
12+ Years of Growing Together
From a single speech therapist with a vision to one of Charlotte's most respected pediatric therapy organizations — this is the story of The LEEAP Center.
The Beginning
The LEEAP Center began its journey, initially offering speech therapy exclusively in Mecklenburg County — a single therapist with a throbbing heart for children and an unshakable belief in human potential.
All In
Faced with the choice of juggling two jobs or fully committing to pediatric therapy, founder Sharon Jordan chose the latter — a defining decision that set the course for everything that followed.
Expanding Services
Responding to committed parents' requests, the organization incorporated Occupational Therapy. The first Occupational Therapist (OTR) joined the team, marking the beginning of multidisciplinary care.
A Growing Team
Clinical staff grew to nearly 15 therapists encompassing both Speech and Occupational Therapy expertise. A 3,500 sq ft office in Charlotte was secured to meet the growing demand.
Monroe Opens
The first satellite office opened in Monroe, NC — bringing quality pediatric therapy closer to families who had been traveling long distances to the Charlotte location.
Transformative Chapter
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, 2020 became a pivotal and transformative year. The LEEAP Center emerged stronger with an unshakable commitment to its mission — people-first, purpose-driven therapy.
15,000 sq ft & Growing
The LEEAP Center now spans 15,000 sq ft across two service areas in Charlotte and Monroe, NC — standing as one of the most highly regarded pediatric therapy organizations in the region. The best is still ahead.
